Well this site hasn't been updated in quite a while, and that's my fault.  I've just really put this site on the back burner, but judging on the hits, we're still getting some semi-regular traffic, which is nice to see.  I'm going to make a conscious effort in the next few weeks to update the site with the most relevant infor, ation. New design and layout partially finished and uploaded.

This website is not affiliated with, nor expresses the views of, the City of Newark, Delaware or the University of Delaware.

Welcome to Wilbur Street on the Web!

Welcome to Wilbur Street on the web.  Enjoy your visit, I hope there is a lot you can laugh at and learn from.  For those of you who got here and aren't sure what you're looking at, well, here's a quick synopsis.  A real crazy bunch of people who went to the University of Delaware had a lot of fun while they were there.  Sure, they learned a lot; books, teachings, etc., but they also learned a lot about life, and about people.  About friendship.  In an attempt to preserve what we shared, I've tried to develop a place here we can all reflect on, laugh about, and participate in.  This isn't about reliving the past, but more about looking back, and remembering how you felt during those special years in college, and to keep the friendships close to mind and heart.

Please be forewarned.  This website may include material that's objectionable to some viewers.  Since 9/12/01, this country has lost its mind, so to be on the safe-side, I need to state the following disclaimer:

If you are offended by discussion of drugs nudity, not giving a shit, cursing, not wiping your ass properly, and all the other stuff that seems to piss people off lately, stop reading, hit close on your Internet browser now, and go hide under your bed until we tell you it's safe to come out. :)

For those of you that are still reading, welcome.  Since this website's inception in June of 1999, it has gone through many changes.  Read the section above titled about this website if you're at all curious about how it has evolved both in structure and in content over the years.

For the people who got here by mistake, stay awhile!  Sure, you might have a Wilbur Street in your town, but I'll bet you $100 it's not nearly anything like the people that lived, and the events that took place on the street called Wilburstreet in Newark, Delaware.  Delaware is small at only 2,489 square miles (New York is 54,572 square miles), but sometimes good things come in small packages. :)

You'll notice that some links on this site (the quotewall for example) will open in this area you're reading now - this text will disappear, and the quote's will replace it.  Other links, like the Guestbook, will open either in a new browser window or will replace the entire browser page when you click on it.  I think everyone is proficient enough with the web these days, that you know you can always hit "back" on your web browser to go back.  There's a good reason that things aren't uniform across the board, but it's a long, boring story. :)

Enjoy your visit.

If you'd like to comment on what you see here (negative or positive), have something you'd like to contribute, or anything else, please see the section titled Contact Jeff.

Oh yeah, one other thing - if you see pictures on here of you you don't want online, please e-mail me and I'll remove them.  This site is put up and published online with the best intentions, but I am not in the business of pissing people off. :)
